Using polarised light, our expert doctors will assess your areas of concern so that they are able to determine the underlying cause and advise which treatment is recommended - ranging from topical creams to radio frequency coagulation. Do veins disappear straightaway?
Typically yes, however, the amount of treatment you need is dependent upon the size, site and number of your veins. In some cases, treatment for finer facial veins can be carried out during one session. Your doctor will assess the level of treatment you can have in a single session, being mindful to balance the amount of treatment with the sensitivity of your skin.
How many treatments will I need?
The amount of thread vein treatments needed to achieve the desired results depends on the severity of the area being treated. As a guide, face veins start from 2 treatments, and leg veins start from 3 treatments. A review session is often conducted once all veins have been treated.
How long is the treatment?
Typically, an appointment for thread vein treatment will take up to 30 minutes.
Is treatment safe?
Yes, treatment for thread vein removal is known as non-invasive, with microwaves from the treatment device penetrating the tissue approximately 0.5-2mm at most, which does not adversely affect the body. All appointments are carried out by one of our doctors who have been specifically trained to provide this treatment.
Is treatment painful?
